About Dr. Aldo F. Berti
Dr. Berti was born and raised in Miami, Florida but has lived in New Mexico since 2011 and considers himself a New Mexican! He completed his medical studies at Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico where he graduated with clinical distinction. He then moved to New Mexico where he completed three pre-residency training years in the neurosurgical and surgical fields before commencing his neurology residency at the University of New Mexico (UNM). He completed his neurology residency in 2018 and pain medicine fellowship also at UNM in 2019. He then moved on to private practice and later joined the ALB Pain Management and Spine Care team in 2021.
Dr. Berti is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and is board certified in both Neurology and Pain Medicine. His focus is on the interventional pain management of painful conditions of the spine and extremities. He is excited for the opportunity to help New Mexicans who have sustained personal injuries and as a result, suffer from chronic pain.
In his leisure time, Dr. Berti enjoys family time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include drawing, cooking, mountain biking, hiking, longboarding, rowing, and the study of the cosmos.
